The Vice Chancellor of the Bayelsa Mrdical University, Prof. Dimie Ogoina has congratulated the BMU Joint Universities Preliminary Examinations Board (JUPEB)
Programme for its remarkable achievement following the successful 2026 Monitoring
Exercise conducted by the Joint Universities Preliminary Examinations Board (JUPEB).
The JUPEB Programme of the University recorded an impressive overall evaluation score
of 91.01%, earning the prestigious DIAMOND PASS STATUS, the highest category of performance awarded by the Board.
Prof. Ogoina noted that this outstanding accomplishment reflects the dedication, commitment, and visionary leadership of Prof. Godwill Ziriki, DVC Sampou and Director of the BMU JUPEP Programme, whose strategic supervision and academic excellence have continued to position the programme for national recognition. He commended the
Director, staff, students, and all stakeholders of the JUPEB Programme in BMU for this laudable achievement.
BMU recorded a strong performance in teaching quality, syllabus coverage, class attendance, and the successful resolution of previously identified deficiencies.
