Bayelsa Medical University (BMU) has been alerted to the activities of fraudsters operating fake Facebook pages and circulating counterfeit admission letters in an attempt to deceive unsuspecting members of the public.
Please be informed that the Facebook pages and admission letter shown below are FAKE and DO NOT represent Bayelsa Medical University.
We wish to state clearly that:
* ❌ BMU does not offer admission through unofficial Facebook pages, WhatsApp messages, or other unauthorised social media accounts.
* ❌ BMU does not request or accept admission or school fee payments into personal bank accounts under any circumstance.
* ❌ Any admission letter, message, or individual requesting payment into a personal account or promising admission in exchange for money is fraudulent.
* ✅ All admissions and payments are processed only through the university's approved official channels and designated payment platforms in line with JAMB and the university's admission procedures.
Prospective students, parents, and guardians are strongly advised to verify every admission-related information through the university's official communication channels before taking any action.
If you receive suspicious admission offers, payment requests or come across fake social media accounts claiming to represent Bayelsa Medical University, please ignore them and report the incident immediately.
Do not make payments into personal bank accounts for admission or any university-related service.
